Housed in a mountaintop chalet with windows overlooking the city lights of Vancouver, The Observatory will reopen its doors to diners on December 2nd for the winter season serving a unique fondue menu.

 

Diners can choose from 2 or 3 courses, with mountain access via the Super Skyride complimentary when making an advanced reservation.

 

Complementing the food will be a wine and beverage list showcasing some of the finest Okanagan vineyards and local craft brewers and distillers.

Getting to Grouse Mountain

By Car

Follow Georgia Street through Stanley Park and across the Lion's Gate Bridge. Take the North Vancouver exit to Marine Drive, then left up Capilano Road for 5 km (3.1 miles). 

OR, from the Ironworkers' Memorial Second Narrows Bridge, follow Highway #1 westbound to Capilano Road Exit North.

Note: All paved parking lots at the base of Grouse Mountain are pay parking.

By Public Transit

The public transit system offers regular service to and from the base of Grouse Mountain every half hour. Catch Bus 232 - Phibbs Exchange or Bus 236 - Lonsdale Quay. For more details, visit the TransLink website. 

When You Arrive

If you have made an advanced reservation, check-in at Grouse Mountain Guest Services on the day of your reservation and a Mountain Admission ticket (valid from 4pm) will be issued for each member of your dining party. A Mountain Admission ticket or valid Grouse Mountain Pass is required to access the mountaintop and Peak Chalet where The Observatory is located.

Board the Super Skyride, North America's largest aerial tramway system, and take the unforgettable 3,700 foot uphill journey to the Peak of Vancouver. From the Skyride terminal, follow the covered walkway to the top floor of the Peak Chalet to find The Observatory.

A Mountain Admission ticket is complimentary for each member of your dinner party on the day of your advance reservation and includes access to the Skyride and mountaintop activities. Visit grousemountain.com for more information.
